Khao Sok National Park is a national park and wildlife sanctuary in Surat Thani province, Thailand. The park includes low mountainous rainforest, evergreen forest, and mature secondary forests. The area is covered in thick primary and secondary rainforests covering an area of 1,076 kmĀ². Some large mammals found in the park include elephants, gaurs, tigers, rhinos, and bears but poaching has reduced the numbers significantly over recent times.
